Leopard

Chiefly found in sub-Saharan Africa, leopards are able to achieve an astonishing 36 miles an hour. One unique characteristic of this creature is that they carry their kills into treetops, protecting it from hyenas and other scavengers. Notorious for their stealth and grace, they are truly delightful to behold, not undue to their beautiful coat with it's distinctive rosettes. This beauty has made the leopard a target for various hunters, but luckily, only a small impact has been made in their numbers, and they are only considered "near-threatened" by the IUCN.
